Calorie tracking, without the typing

Point your camera at your plate. Frulo recognizes the food, counts the calories and breaks down protein, carbs and fat.

Frulo is an AI calorie counter for iPhone. Instead of searching a database and correcting portion sizes every time you eat, you photograph the plate. Frulo recognizes what is on it, estimates the calories, and splits them into protein, carbohydrates and fat — then files it in your diary.

Most people who quit a calorie tracker quit because of the typing, not the counting. So every way of logging a meal is built to take seconds: a photo, a barcode, a sentence to Siri, or a description you type when the food is not in front of you.

How it works

  1. Photograph your meal

Open the camera and take one picture of the plate. No searching, no portion dropdowns, no database to fight with.

  2. Check the estimate

Frulo identifies the foods and returns calories, protein, carbs and fat. Adjust anything that looks off, then save it to your diary in a tap.

  3. Watch the week, not the meal

Your weight trend, calorie averages and macro splits build up over time, and an AI nutritionist can explain them using your own numbers.
